About us…
I’m Magda, a certified nutritionist with a rich background in culinary arts and a deep passion for holistic health. My journey began in the bustling kitchens of various five-star lodges and restaurants, where I honed my skills as a chef. It was during this time that I developed a keen interest in understanding people’s dietary needs, particularly food allergies and intolerances.
Culinary Roots and Nutritional Exploration
My culinary adventures led me to an enlightening week with Chef Reza Mahammad, the Spice Prince of India. This experience ignited my fascination with spices, not just for their flavor but also for their medicinal and nutritional properties. This newfound curiosity propelled me into extensive studies in nutrition and holistic health.
The artist within me found joy in the delicate art of chocolate truffles and sugar work, skills I refined under the guidance of Chef Peter Gyorgyicsek, a gold medalist at the Culinary Olympics in Atlanta.
Academic Pursuits and Qualifications
I earned my Diploma in Nutrition with distinction from The Blackford Centre, advanced studies in nutrition at Oxford Colledge (2023) and completing my Masters degree in Nutrition and the Microbiome in 2025,

Gut Microbiota: Exploring the complex ecosystem of the digestive tract and its impact on overall health.
Parasitic Infections: Investigating how parasites affect nutritional status and well-being.
Published Work
In 2023, I published my first educational cookbook dedicated to wheat allergies and gluten intolerance. This comprehensive guide delves into the effects of these conditions on the body and introduces 16 alternative flours, each discussed in detail with their respective benefits and drawbacks. The book features over 150 delicious recipes, offering tasty alternatives for those seeking gluten-free options.
Professional Experience
Since 2018, and particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been associated with the Western Herbal Medicine Group (WHMG). Here, I gained invaluable experience in integrating allergy testing using the Bioplasm NLS machine with personalized nutritional plans to enhance health outcomes.
Following my husband’s job relocation in 2021, I realized a long-held dream by opening my own nutritional practice in Hammanskraal. This venture allows me to provide tailored nutritional guidance to my community.
My Philosophy
I firmly believe that healthy eating should never be synonymous with bland or boring food. My guiding principles are:
